...bear with me and forgive my laziness... please!
 

Visitors to CosmOnline might have noticed how lazy I have been of late. There have been no short and pithy bits of space-based (or indeed anything-based) news, no videos or bright and colourful graphics - even my weekly Cosm pages from the Metro are failing to make it on the website!
 

So what's my excuse? Well, it all comes down to that relentless demon that we human-folk call 'time'. In short, I don't have enough of it at the moment. Between doing my regular job as Graphics editor at the Metro newspaper; researching, writing and designing my Cosm spread; the odd bit of teaching here and there and trying to be a good father at the weekends... that demonic clock-grinder leaves my time allowance in a woeful state of deficit.

But fear not my merry science-type folks! Come September all this will change. I am leaving the full-time employ of Momma Metro to go it alone in the wilderness of self-employment and - armed with only a six-year-old  iMac G5 - I will be doing battle the demon 'time' on my own terms. I expect to leave the battle, not only victorious (and a little poorer), but also with a great deal more time to devote to keeping CosmOnline update and exciting.

The woefully unsupported (by myself) 'Ask a scientist' section will be brought back from the dead and answers culled from the minds of science's finest will spill forth in a flood of interestingness and WOWyness. There will we daily news updates, new videos, new graphics and soooo much more!

So, I beg you, please gift me with a handful of patience to sustain me until the final battle can commence!
